Who We Are?
Capital Carriers is a local independent company. Established in April 1988, and started delivering furniture throughout the highlands. We then progressed to delivering newspapers throughout the highlands, then combined this with parcels as well. We now have a fleet of vans delivering newspapers and parcels daily, covering the Highlands.
Our main function is the distribution of newspapers, magazines and parcels covering most of the Highland region. Further to this, we distribute goods for local businesses. When the business was first founded, Capital Carriers started with two employees and we now employ a workforce of 48 staff with a fleet of vans.
In October 2017, we moved to location Stadium Road. this allowed Capital Carriers to grow.
In April 2025, we moved to our location on Walker Road. The new premises is 4,000 sq ft which has allowed Capital Carriers to grow even more.
As we deliver throughout the Scottish Highlands, we cover the main areas daily and outlying areas at least 2 days a week using a connecting network reaching the rest of the UK.
